Is Holosun battle proven? ›

Regardless of a competitive price and attractive technical specifications, Holosun still could not claim to be combat proven. However, large numbers of Holosun optics have been fielded during the defense of Ukraine. During the war, they have been seen on AK-style rifles, AR-style rifles and even machine guns.

Right now there are thousands of users using Holosun Pistol optics on their duty weapons. These are police officers, military members, security folks, and hardcore enthusiasts who run classes every week. The optics we are going to recommend are the ones we would use for duty or patrol use.

Both sights are excellent. However, I would consider the EOTECH XPS2 for more adverse and wet conditions over the Holosun 510C. The XPS2 is military-grade, with this stated, for daily civilian use, the Holosun HS510C wins hand down and mainly due to its crazy power source combination and ease of use.
